Really good stay with a RIVER view

The location near the Luis bridge was FANTASTIC. The rooftop bar provided nice experiences with close views of the bridge over the river! Mornings and evenings watching boats go by were a delight from the rooftop. The room was spacious. It had nice furnishings.
The reservation included breakfast, HOWEVER it was additional. A bit of a surprise.

Breakfast included multiple options and good food. The dining staff was attentive! The rooftop bar provided fine views of the river and city. It created a relaxed atmosphere in the evening.

The hotel's situation in front of the Douro is privileged. It is close to the center but without noise. The location is great for walking into town along the river and for superb views, that was amazing.

The room had european flair opposite the Douro river. The bed and pillows were comfortable. A little balcony allowed enjoying the river view. It was spacious and nicely furnished.

The staff was very helpful. Giving good advice on how to move around. The staff at the reception and in the dining room were friendly. They were also efficient, a GREAT plus.

I found the location very convenient, close to the bridge. The staff proved to be helpful . The breakfast offered a large selection.
The cleaning service seemed to be available upon request only. I received no prior notification. When I requested cleaning, I had to leave the room for half an hour. Parking was available about a kilometer away. The cost was exorbitant.

The location was very nice. I could walk to the main attractions! the reception team was helpful. i had a nice view from my room too, it was so worth it! breakfast was really good. i got a bottle of wine!
the air conditioner didn't quite cool the room as much as i hoped!

helpful staffgreat location
the staff was very helpful i did not like my first room so they changed me to a better room the bartender and waitstaff were very nice. the location is away from the crowds but close to both the historic district and across the river to the port wine makers
i noticed the curtains couch and one pillow had some stains also my bedframe was noisy which was annoying
